Robert. T. "Tim" Thomas was born May 15, 1958 in Branson, MO. He graduated from Forsyth High School and attended College of the Ozarks. Right Worshipful Brother Thomas served his country as a member of the MO National Guard as a flight mechanic and crew chief. R.W. Brother Thomas currently lives in Crane, MO with his wife Kathryn, daughter Shelby, and son, Andy who attends College of the Ozarks and is a Master Mason like his father. R.W. Brother Thomas has been employed as a MO State Water Patrolman for 29 years. He is currently assigned to the Southwest Missouri region. R.W. Brother Thomas and his family attend Crane First Baptist Church.
Right Worshipful Brother Thomas began his Masonic career at Galena Lodge #515 in 1992. He served as Master of the Lodge in 1997. He was appointed District Deputy Grand Master of the 43rd Masonic District in 2004 and 2005. He is a member of the MO Lodge of Research where he assists with new and current memberships at the Annual Grand Lodge session and area meetings. R.W. Brother Thomas also assists at the Grand Lodge table at annual communications. He has also served on Masonic trial commissions when needed. He was awarded a Grand Lodge achievement award and was recognized by the Children's Miracle Network for his fundraising efforts. R.W. Brother Thomas has been proud to assist in several MOCHIP events in the Southwest Missouri area.
R.W. Brother Thomas is a perpetual member of the Scottish Rite valley of Joplin, where he serves as assistant class director. He is currently Commander of the Kadosh and was invested as a Knight Commander of the Court of Honor in 2005. He also serves on the membership committee and is the chairman of the library committee. He is a member of the 23rd degree cast and KCCH investiture cast. He is a member of the Scottish Rite Research Society and has received the Master Craftsman award from the Supreme Council.
R.W. Brother Thomas is a York Rite Mason and is a member of Springfield Chapter No. 15 RAM, Zabud Council No. 25 R&SM, and St. Johns Commandry No. 20 KT. He is a member of Galena Chapter No. 7 Order of the Eastern Star. He is also a member of the Ozark Order No. 9 of the Sword of Bunker Hill. He has been a member of Abou Ben Adhem Shrine since 2001. He is a a member of the ritual cast, Keystone Cops, and former member of the BATS and Taney County Shrine club.
