Reagan Baird was born and reared in Minden, Louisiana. He served in the USAF for 12 years as a Medical Technician, eight of those years he served as an Aeromedical Evacuation Technician and was stationed in the far east for 3 years.

He moved to New Madrid, Missouri in 1989, was initiated into Freemasonry in March of 1995, passed in June and raised in July 1995. Served as Master of New Madrid Lodge #429 in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. He currently holds the office of Senior Warden.

Reagan is a member of the United Methodist Church in New Madrid, the American Legion Post 595, Treasurer of the Eagles Aerie 4206, Membership Chairman of the Lyons Club, President of the Dixie Arts Council and President of the Chamber of Commerce.

Reagan was selected as the Citizen of the year in 1996 and Man of the Year in 1999. He is employed by the New Madrid Housing Authority as the Maintenance Supervisor and has worked there since 1994.
