The 2011 Lodge of Research
annual meeting will be held Sept. 26, 2011 at the Grand Lodge
Communication at the Holiday Inn In Columbia at 3:00pm. The
annual breakfast will be on the following morning Sept 27, at
7:00am, continuing the Truman Lecture Series with a
presentation from Steven Vitale, 9/11 Survivor & Freemason.
Cost for the breakfast is $20.00.
The 2011 Lodge of Research
mid-year meeting will be held May 7, 2011 at the Masonic
Complex In Columbia at 12:00 Noon.
There
will be lunch and a panel discussion. Cost for the lunch is
$15.00

Speaker Announced
At the Lodge of Research
Breakfast to be held at the Grand Lodge Communication in
Columbia at the Holiday Inn Executive Center on September 28,
2010 at 7am, Prestonian Lecturer of the United Grand Lodge of
England, Trevor Stewart will be the speaker.
Proceeds from Masonic License
Plates now go to the Lodge of Research
The
Grand Lodge has participated in the Missouri Specialty License
Plate Program for many years. This allows members to proudly
display their Masonic Membership along with a unique message
of their choosing on the front and back of their cars.
This
program requires a donation to a charity of the sponsoring
organizations choosing to obtain the specialized license
plate.
In previous years, these donations
were directed to the Masonic Childrens Foundation. With the
establishment of other funding sources and in the spirit of
cooperation and assistance between our charitable
organizations, it was agreed to direct all future donations
from the license plate program to the MoLOR.
This
new source of income will assist the LOR in its new mission
of the management of the Missouri Masonic Library &
Museum.

2010 Mid-year meeting to
be held at the Truman Lecture Series presentation on 5/22/10
With
the new by-laws revision, the officers of the Missouri Lodge
of Research can set the
time & place for the mid-year meeting, which will be held
this year in conjunction with the Truman Lecture Series dinner
& presentation to be held at the Masonic Complex in
Columbia on May 22, 2010 at 5:00pm.
The
