Proceeds from Masonic License Plates now go to the Lodge of Research

The Grand Lodge has participated in the Missouri Specialty License Plate Program for many years. This allows members to proudly display their Masonic Membership along with a unique message of their choosing on the front and back of their cars.

This program requires a donation to a charity of the sponsoring organizations choosing to obtain the specialized license plate.

In previous years, these donations were directed to the Masonic Childrens Foundation. With the establishment of other funding sources and in the spirit of cooperation and assistance between our charitable organizations, it was agreed to direct all future donations from the license plate program to the MoLOR.

This new source of income will assist the LOR in its new mission of  the management of the Missouri Masonic Library & Museum.

Help the LOR and show your Masonic Pride by getting your Masonic MO License Plates!

Applying for Personalized/Specialty License Plates

To obtain a set of personalized/specialty license plates for your vehicle, you must submit a completed Application for Missouri Personalized and Special License Plates (DOR-1716Adobe Acrobat PDF)and the application fee of $15 for a personalized/specialty plate to the Department of Revenue. These forms are available at Missouri license offices, or you may request a copy to be sent by mail.

If you are requesting a specialty plate bearing the emblem of a particular organization, you may also be required to submit the proper Emblem Use Authorization Statement (EUAS) from that organization, or your membership card to the organization if applicable.

This application process is separate from any regular fees/documents that may be required when you register your vehicle.

If your requested plate configuration(s) is/are not available, your $15 application fee will be returned to you.

If your requested plate configuration is available, your plates will be ordered (turnaround time may be several weeks). Our staff will then mail a notification letter to you when your plates are available for pickup at your designated license office. Additional fees to transfer the plate to your vehicle will be required at that time.

NOTE: A $15 reservation fee and EUAS (if applicable) are required for each year the plate is renewed.
